Make Yourself a Sandwich!
An interactive art piece for children, inviting them to become part of a gigantic sandwich. Inspired by classic fairy tales, where witches magically lure and capture children. This project playfully transforms that idea into an imaginative, hands-on experience.
All ingredients, other than the children themselves, were hand-sewn by Risa using recycled fabrics such as tablecloths, curtains, and bedsheets collected from second-hand shops.

Jane Goodall Institute Japan – Roots & Shoots (Fundraiser Illustration)
This illustration was created for a cookie tin cover as part of a fundraising initiative for the Jane Goodall Institute Japan’s Roots & Shoots program.
At Jane Goodall’s personal request, all plants and animals depicted are native to Tanzania, where she began her groundbreaking work.
The cookies were organic and made using rescued fruits and vegetables from a local farm. They were crafted with love by the talented chef Megumi Sawano, based in Kamakura.
